The Dream

Where fine dining meets the dream world

Bèl Rèv is Atlanta’s dreamy circus dinner theater experience, a new kind of night out where extraordinary performance, seasonal cuisine, live music, storytelling, and atmospheric design come together in one unforgettable evening.

Bèl Rèv means “Beautiful Dream” in Haitian Creole. Here, boundary-pushing circus arts take flight, every course delights the senses, and reality loosens its grip. Guests do not simply watch the story. They enter it.

Created for the dreamers, the revelers, and anyone ready to see Atlanta through a more imaginative lens, Bèl Rèv is shaped by the belief that one remarkable night can shift your perspective and expand what you believe is possible.

Founded by Haitian dreamer, movement artist, and Georgia Tech engineering graduate Monica Martelly, Bèl Rèv grew from a clear creative need: more opportunities for professional circus artists to build sustainable careers in Atlanta. The result is an ambitious, multidisciplinary experience that celebrates human artistry.

The Experience

An evening inside the dream

This September, Bèl Rèv invites Atlanta to step inside the dream for the first time. Our debut is a two-night experience hosted at LOOP. While LOOP is not Bèl Rèv’s permanent home, it gives guests an early look at the experience we are building toward: a dedicated, year-round space for circus arts, local and seasonal cuisine, layered storytelling, and the magic of dreaming big.

From the moment you arrive, every detail becomes part of the story. Begin with curated drinks and appetizers as you explore the space and encounter unexpected moments of discovery. Then, settle in for a plated, multi-course dinner as circus performances unfold within arm’s reach. Music, storytelling, and thoughtful design carry the evening from arrival to final bow.

Arrive. Explore. Taste. Wonder. Remember.

This is more than dinner and a show. It is a full-sensory invitation to reconnect with wonder, share a beautiful experience, and leave carrying a little more possibility than you brought in.

Why It Matters

A new stage for Atlanta’s creative talent

Bèl Rèv introduces a distinctive live entertainment experience to Atlanta while opening new doors for the people who make that experience possible. Each production brings together circus performers, culinary partners, musicians, storytellers, designers, technicians, producers, and hospitality professionals. Together, they create something no single discipline could produce alone.

The vision extends beyond one event. Bèl Rèv is building toward recurring productions, longer-term contracts for Atlanta-based artists, and a permanent venue that can also host special events, rentals, and other creative work. It is a destination designed to attract audiences, strengthen Atlanta’s creative economy, and keep more artistic opportunities in the city.

The inaugural production is not the destination. It is the beginning.

The Space

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring this temporary proof-of-concept experience to LOOP, a new West Midtown arts venue powered by The Goat Farm and supported by Georgia Tech Arts.

Our long-term vision is to gather a dream team of collaborators, supporters, and donors to create a permanent home for Bèl Rèv in Atlanta. We imagine a modern circus dinner theater where recurring productions create meaningful jobs, artists have room to grow, audiences return to experience new stories, and magic is always on the menu.

The Dreamers

Monica Martelly and Mwandisha Gaitor — the dreamers behind Bèl Rèv

Monica Martelly, Founder & Dreamer

Monica Martelly is a Haitian American multidisciplinary movement artist, circus performer, civil engineer, and the founder and dreamer behind Bèl Rèv. Her cultural roots and belief in the power of dreaming shape a body of work that brings artistry, technical vision, and community together.

Monica began dancing in Haiti at age six, studying Haitian folklore and ballet before expanding into pointe, jazz, contemporary, modern, and social dance. After 13 years of dance training, she entered the circus arts in 2018 and developed a practice spanning aerial hoop, trapeze, flying pole, wall dance, fire performance, and prop manipulation. Her work has appeared in productions and festivals throughout the Southeast and at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. She has also directed aerial performances for Atlanta’s Loom Lab and earned recognition at the Vegas International Variety Arts Festival.

Monica graduated with honors from Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering and spent four years working in sustainability, supporting green building certifications for hundreds of projects around the world. In 2020, she was named a USGBC South Atlantic Region Woman to Watch. Her experience across engineering, sustainability, and performance allows her to pair ambitious creative ideas with the structure and resourcefulness needed to bring them to life.

Through Bèl Rèv, Monica brings her artistic, cultural, and technical worlds together to celebrate human creativity, create meaningful professional opportunities for Atlanta artists, and invite audiences into experiences filled with beauty, wonder, and possibility.

Mwandisha Gaitor, Executive Chef

Mwandisha Gaitor is the executive chef of Bèl Rèv and the culinary creator and owner of 2 Pieces of Toast, also known as 2POT. For more than 12 years, she has created thoughtful dining experiences rooted in local and seasonal ingredients, warm hospitality, and a deep respect for the people and resources behind every meal.

Her approach to sustainability extends beyond the menu. Mwandisha is intentional about using sustainable materials whenever possible and considers how food is sourced, prepared, presented, and served. Her work reflects a belief that an elevated dining experience can be both beautiful and responsible.

Her clients include Spelman College, the Atlanta Mayor’s Office, Visa, United Way, and organizations working across movements for justice. At Bèl Rèv, Mwandisha brings the dream to the table through food that is generous, imaginative, and memorable from the first taste to the final course.
